Special this month the library offers a 3-week Pilates workshop each Friday from 6:30-7:30 beginning Friday the 13th. Pilates is a core-based exercise program, that improves posture, alignment, and balance. Hosting the workshop will be Kerry Petty, an internationally certified Pilates instructor who has practiced and taught for over 25 years. Kerry previously taught Pilates at the second-largest fitness center in the U.S., and will give focus in these 3 weeks on fall prevention, core/posture, and learning the Pilates fundamentals.
