Panhandle Players present: The Time of Your Life

The Panhandle Players of the Forgotten Coast will present The Time of Your Life, by William Saroyan, at the historic Chapman Auditorium in Apalachicola, at Hwy 98 and 12th Street. Performance dates are Feb. 10 and 11 at 7:30 pm, and Feb. 12 at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $15, and may be purchased on line at https://panhandle-players.ticketleap.com, or at the door. The Time of Your Life depicts a group of alienated loners, all colorful characters, in a shabby San Francisco waterfront bar, looking for love and meaning in their lives. The play won the 1940 New York Drama Critics Circle Award and the 1940 Pulitzer Prize for drama. Much of the action of the play centers around Joe, a young loafer with money who encourages each of the bar’s patrons in their eccentricities.
