Magical Jellyfish Lantern-Making Workshop

November 13 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

In celebration of Lantern Fest, the Crooked River Lighthouse is hosting a Jellyfish Lantern Making Workshop on Friday, November 13 from 12-4 pm ET at the Lanark Boat Club at 2364 Hwy 98 East, Lanark Village, FL. This fun, hands-on workshop offers participants a chance to create their own whimsical, glowing jellyfish lanterns, a favorite at Lantern Fest.

Led by volunteer Lisa Keith-Lucas, the workshop will guide participants through making these enchanting jellyfish lanterns. All basic materials, instruction, and hands-on assistance will be provided for $10 per person. Participants are also welcome to bring additional materials – ribbons, beads, tulle, or other decorative materials – to further personalize their creations.

At the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with a unique, handcrafted jellyfish lantern to enjoy at home or bring to Lantern Fest at the Crooked River Lighthouse on Saturday, November 14, from 6 to 10 p.m. ET. The lanterns will add to the festival’s magical nighttime display.

Space is limited, and reservations are required to ensure enough materials are available. To reserve a spot, contact the Crooked River Lighthouse Gift Shop at 850-697-2732 or carrabellelighthouse@gmail.com. The $10 fee is payable in cash at the door and exact change is requested, if possible. Funded in part by the Franklin County Tourist Development Council. Special thanks to the City of Carrabelle
