Honoring The Brave

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Franklin County School Track Team, is excited to announce our inaugural 5K event titled “Honoring The Brave.” This event will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Apalachicola.
We are eager to work with these young athletes to create a fun and meaningful way to commemorate Memorial Day while raising funds for the youth in our county. The net proceeds from this event will directly benefit the track team and support potential youth events sponsored by the Sheriff’s Office. All participants will receive a finisher medal and a nice dry fit “Honoring The Brave” official race shirt.
Funds will be processed through our Charity Fund, so sponsorships or registrations may be tax-deductible.
