About Fishing in Apalachicola and St. George Island
The Apalachicola Bay is an estuary located on the northwest coast of the state of Florida, it offers some of the finest fishing in the country. The Apalachicola Bay system includes St. Georges Sound, St. Vincent Sound and East Bay, covering an area of about 208 square miles. Four islands St. Vincent Island to the west, Cape St. George Island (Little St. George) and St. George Island to the south, and Dog Island to the east separate the system from the Gulf of Mexico. The Apalachicola Bay has been designated as a National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Apalachicola River is the largest source of freshwater to the estuary.

You are allowed to keep your catch under Florida limits. (IF they meet the size requirement) Cleaning your catch is extra. And gratuities are very much appreciated.
