Spencer Bohren’s enthusiasm for America’s music is infectious. For four decades he has been sharing his unique blend of blues, country, gospel, folk and original songs with audiences all over America and on dozens of concert tours in Europe and Asia. He lives in New Orleans, but he’s been everywhere, man! In fact, way back in 1975, Spencer spent a couple months in Apalachicola playing nightly for the locals at the Gibson Inn. His concert at the Dixie Theatre will draw from seventeen albums and feature stories inspired by a life on the road. He might even offer a glimpse into an Apalachicola from days gone by.
