Nautical Nostalgia:
A Conversation on Ferry and Party Boats
of Carrabelle

Saturday, January 27
10:00 am-12:00 pm
Franklin County Senior Center
201 NW Avenue F, Carrabelle

Admission is Free & Open to the Public

presented by
Carrabelle History Museum

The Carrabelle History Museum will be hosting a conversation about the fascinating local ferry boats, like the “Spica” and party boats, like the “Miss Carrabelle” that served Carrabelle for years.

Our history programs sometimes feature professional historians and other times are fortunate to feature local citizens with first hand knowledge of the ForgottenCoast’s fascinating maritime heritage. This special event will feature tales and reminiscences from local people, like Raymond Williams, Bevin Putnal and Micky Gay, who were captains, deckhands and children on board the area’s beloved ferry boats and slightly infamous party boats.

We encourage those with memories or family stories and tales of their own to come and share in this conversation and bring your pictures. Don’t miss the boat!
