Holiday Cheer at Raney House

Dear Historical Society Friends,

Preparations are being made for an annual Holiday Event at the Raney House. The date is December 9 4:30 – 6PM. We are not doing the whole “Festival of Trees” fundraising event, but would like to have some holiday decorations to sell that day. I have all the hardware etc to make wreaths and kissing balls, and will be cutting greens a few days before the event. What I am hoping is that local friends might help with assembling these anytime on the Wednesday-Friday (Dec 5-7). I would like to do some ornaments, and maybe some baked goods for people to buy as gifts or whatever. I am also making pomanders (citrus stuck with cloves, what dry out and can be kept for years) right now, because they need time to dry. You can pick up fruit, cloves and instructions from me. I now an the docent at the Mondays and Tuesdays.
