Classic Film Night at The Apalachicola Library

On Thursday, May 18th, the Apalachicola Public Library will screen the comedy western “My Little Chickadee” (1940) as part of its Classic Movie Series. Starring the legends Mae West and W.C. Fields, this film pokes cheeky fun at a variety of targets, including vigilante justice and Hollywood censors. Free popcorn and light refreshments will be served. The action begins at 6 PM with a brief introduction to the film’s history and significance. Brought to you by PALS, the Friends of the Apalachicola Margaret Key Public Library. The library is on the corner of 98 and 12th Street in Apalachicola.
