Classic Movie Night returns to the Apalachicola Library on Thursday, October 26th, at 6 PM with a screening of the original “Dracula,” starring Bela Lugosi. Horror as a film genre was born with this 1931 Universal Pictures release, known for its moody cinematography, creepy atmosphere, and Lugosi’s timeless portrayal of a vampire. As a bonus comedy feature, a clip from Abbott and Costello’s encounter with Count Dracula (1948) will round out the evening. Join PALS–the Friends of the Apalachicola Library–for an evening of film chills and mayhem, just in time for Halloween. Free admission, free popcorn, and free Halloween candy. The library is located on the corner of US 98 and 12th Street in Apalachicola.
