DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) announces a week filled with creativity\, connection\, and community at the Eastpoint and Carrabelle Branches of the Franklin County Public Libraries through  their popular Program Series. Library programs are free and open to the public with no library card required. \n  \nA Tech Help session is scheduled for Tuesday\, March 24 at 11 AM at the Carrabelle Branch. Patrons may receive one-on-one assistance with devices\, email\, digital resources\, and more. No registration is required; drop-ins are welcome. \n  \nCreation Station: Make your own Volcano\, a program where children ages 7–12 can make a baking soda and vinegar volcano which will bubble\, fizz and explode with fun. The program will be held on Wednesday\, March 25 at 4:00 PM at the Carrabelle Branch. \n  \nAdult Crafternoon: Upcycled Bunny w/ Scrap Fabric will take place on Thursday\, March 26 at 2:30 PM at the Carrabelle Branch. At this workshop guests will be using a precut cardboard bunny and using scrap fabric to create a cute bunny. This engaging program will take place on Tuesday\, January 21\, at 2:30 pm ET\, at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches. \n  \nParticipants will have the opportunity to create their own faux stained glass. This project offers guests an opportunity to make their own colorful work of art without the need for expensive equipment or advanced artistic skills\, making it perfect for crafters of all experience levels. Supplies are included\, and the event is free and open to all adults—no library card required. \n  \nAdult Crafternoon is part of the Franklin County Public Libraries’ Program Series\, which provides engaging activities for all ages. The Program Series is packed with exciting events\, including StoryTimes for children\, STEM Space for young explorers\, Kids Crafts and more. Each program is designed to cater to different interests\, ensuring that there’s something for everyone in the community. At this magical St. Patrick’s Day celebration\, kids will enjoy a storytime featuring Jamie O’Rourke & the Big Potato: An Irish Folktale by Tomie DePaola\, which will be brought to life with Novel Effect soundscapes. After the story\, children can enjoy a fun St. Patrick’s Day activity to keep the luck of the Irish going! This session is perfect for preschool & early elementary ages and all families are welcome. \n  \nA Tech Class is scheduled for Tuesday\, March 17 at 10:30 AM at the Eastpoint Branch. This hands-on tech class helps participants build digital confidence on smartphones\, tablets and laptops. Patrons can get help with social media questions (Facebook\, Instagram)\, email setup and password help\, downloading apps safely\, library apps\, digital resources\, and privacy and scam awareness basics. Registration is encouraged. \n  \nThe Writer’s Forum meets on Wednesday\, March 18 at 1 PM at the Eastpoint Branch. Attendees are welcome to share their work\, get inspired\, and connect with fellow writers. Writers of all genres and experience levels are invited. \n  \nA Pipe Cleaner Flowers craft workshop will take place on Friday\, March 20 at 12:30 PM at the Carrabelle Branch. At this workshop\, guests will create pipe cleaner flowers\, a fun and easy craft that allows for endless creativity! This easy hands-on program will be provided in a fun\, welcoming setting. \n  \nDIY Windchimes\, a hands-on craft program where patrons can design and create their very own wind chime using colorful pony beads and other decorative materials. Guests will experience a beautifully illustrated\, interactive eBook on the Smart Board\, brought to life with immersive sound effects from Novel Effect. After the story\, children can enjoy a hands‑on craft activity of all ages inspired by Lunar New Year traditions. \n  \nA Tech Class will be offered on Tuesday\, February 17 at 10:30 AM at the Eastpoint Branch. This hands-on tech class helps participants build digital confidence and learn how to get things done online. Registration is encouraged. \n  \nThe Writer’s Forum meets on Wednesday\, February 18 at 1 PM at the Eastpoint Branch. Attendees are welcome to share their work\, get inspired\, and connect with fellow writers. Writers of all genres and experience levels are invited. \n  \nAdult Crafternoon: Hanging Hand Towel takes place on Thursday\, February 19 at 2:30 PM at the Carrabelle Branch. DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Franklin County Public Libraries invite everyone to a delicious and fun-filled Souper Celebration\, a Soup\, Bread\, and Book Sale Event on Saturday\, January 17\, 2026 at the Eastpoint Branch Library\, 160 Hickory Dip Rd\, Eastpoint\, FL. The general public is welcome from 10 am – 2 pm ET. Members of the Friends have exclusive early access to the soup sale starting at 9:30 am. Also new members\, renewing members and those donating can get a Friends tote bag. This fun celebration will offer local culture and art. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome. \n  \nThis annual event features delicious homemade soups\, freshly baked artisan breads and used books and DVDs. Local residents bring their delicious homemade soups from seafood bisques and gumbos to chili and Brunswick stew\, along with freshly baked breads. With dozens of soups ranging from exotic to healthy to old-fashioned\, visitors are encouraged to come early to get the best selection before they sell out. \n  \nThe Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) is a 501(c)(3) organization. SUMMARY:Adult Crafternoon at the  Franklin County Public Libraries
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) invites visitors and residents to enjoy a relaxing and creative afternoon at the upcoming Adult Crafternoon workshop. This engaging program will take place on Tuesday\, January 21\, at 2:30 pm ET\, at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches. \n  \nParticipants will have the opportunity to create their own faux stained glass. This project offers guests an opportunity to make their own colorful work of art without the need for expensive equipment or advanced artistic skills\, making it perfect for crafters of all experience levels. Supplies are included\, and the event is free and open to all adults—no library card required. \n  \nAdult Crafternoon is part of the Franklin County Public Libraries’ Program Series\, which provides engaging activities for all ages. The Program Series is packed with exciting events\, including StoryTimes for children\, STEM Space for young explorers\, Kids Crafts and more. Each program is designed to cater to different interests\, ensuring that there’s something for everyone in the community. Regular programs will continue as scheduled\, including the Eastpoint Book Chat on the 1st Tuesday at 1:30 pm\, the Carrabelle Book Chat on the 1st Friday at 1:30 pm\, and the Eastpoint Writer’s Forum on the 3rd Wednesday at 1:00 pm. \n  \nThe Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries\, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the libraries in Eastpoint and Carrabelle\, proudly sponsor the Fall Program Series.
