SUMMARY:Celebrate a Summer Evening at Twilight at the Tower
DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse invites visitors to Twilight at the Tower on Saturday\, September 5 from 7:00-9:00 pm ET in Carrabelle\, FL. This relaxing evening event offers after-hours museum visits\, gift shop browsing\, twilight tower climbs\, and the peaceful natural surroundings of St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach as evening falls. Plus guests will listen to live music from the talented Todd Sparks. Admission is free. Evening climbs are $6 for the public\, free for current members and free for kids 12 and under with a ticketed adult. \n  \nTodd Sparks’ career has been shaped by a lifelong love of music\, humor\, and entertaining. His career took off at Pineapple Willy’s\, where his comedy-and-music act\, The Party Doctor\, became a crowd favorite. Blending Trop Rock\, Gulf Coast country\, Americana\, and beach music\, Todd delivers original songs\, familiar favorites\, storytelling\, and humor in an upbeat\, feel-good performance. He collaborated with Brent Radar on The Gulf of Mexico\, inspired by his song “Southwest Take Me There.” His music has since reached audiences through radio\, film\, airline playlists\, and collaborations with artists like Johnny Rivers\, Percy Sledge\, and Collin Raye. \n  \nThe Keeper’s House Museum will be open for special evening hours\, featuring the lighthouse’s original Fourth Order Fresnel lens\, constructed in Paris\, France\, in 1894. Visitors can also browse the lighthouse gift shop for unique nautical gifts and souvenirs. The Beacon Bistro will offer baked goodies\, popcorn\, and refreshments by donation. Plus guests can enjoy food and beverages from the LINK Sausages & Beer Food Truck.  As the evening sky transforms from sunset colors to deep twilight blues\, guests are encouraged to kick back\, relax on the lighthouse grounds\, and enjoy a memorable evening beneath the summer sky. \n  \nFor those looking for an unforgettable view\, twilight tower climbs provide a chance to experience the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast from the top. Climbers will enjoy panoramic views of St. George Sound\, Carrabelle Beach\, and the beautiful colors of twilight stretching across the horizon as dusk settles over the coast. \n  \nAdvance climb tickets are encouraged. Evening climbs are scheduled at 15-minute intervals and all climbers must be at least 44 inches tall.
