  • Lafayette Park offers a beautiful view of the Apalachicola Bay and has a large open gazebo used for weddings and outdoor concerts. The park is lighted and has been used for many night weddings. To reserve call City Hall at (850) 653-9319. 
  • Fort Coombs Armory is located on 4th Street and Avenue D, was built in the early 1900s. The facility is available for rent and can accommodate large receptions (850) 653-8277
  • 15 Avenue E
    Nestled in Historic Downtown Apalachicola, 15 Avenue E  is a charming building which features restored authentic wood work, hard wood flooring, high ceilings, exposed brick walls and picturesque views of the Apalachicola River.  This building makes a striking location for your wedding reception or other special event venues.  Call to reserve (719) 660-7166

  • Camellia Hall (850) 653-9199 Located next to the beautiful turn-of-the-century Coombs House Inn in the historic district. The hall can accommodate up to 100 guests and surroundings gardens and  period gazebo accommodates 50-60 additional guests (850) 653-9199.
  • Dixie Theatre (850) 653-3200 Originally built in 1913; this wonderful space can host approximately 150 people.
  • Gibson Inn (850) 653-2193 Victorian atmosphere with a large dining room plus separate private reception areas.  Accommodates small groups or up to 300 people.
  • Apalachicola River Inn (850) 653-8139 Both inside and outside spaces available on the beautiful Apalachicola River.
  • Bryant House 888-554-4376 Intimate setting for small groups.
  • Apalachicola Community Center (850) 653-9319 Located in Battery Park this modern structure can host up to 200 guests.
  • Buccaneer Inn 800-847-2091 Large window-lined reception room that can host 75+ guests. Glass doors open out on to the courtyard and pool area.

  • RiverCrest Lodge (850) 370-0075 Lovely new, secluded location on Scipio Creek. Wide verandas with large french doors, outdoor fireplace, prep kitchen.  Open floor plan with 1,000 square inside and 2,000 square feet of covered porches.

Churches

  • First United Methodist Church is located on Highway 98 and 5th Street. The present structure was built in 1901, after fire destroyed the original 1846 church. The church is available for ceremonies and has a reception hall next door (850) 653-9553.
  •  St. Patrick Catholic Church is located on 6th Street between Avenue C & B. The Romanesque style building was built in 1929 and has great wooden pews and beautiful stained glass windows. St. Patrick’s also offers a fellowship hall that accommodates 250 people. (850) 653-9453

  • Trinity Episcopal Church is believed to be the sixth oldest church in the state of Florida, the second oldest church still holding services. It was built in 1836. Trinity‘s fellowship hall can be rented.

    First United Methodist Church of Apalachicola was built in 1901. The church’s great steeple is a stopping point for many visitors. (850) 653-9550
     
  • First Baptist Church was first organized in the mid-1800s. The present building was erected in 1902. The church is noted for its beautiful stained glass windows (850) 653-9540.
