This show combines the wit and sentimentality of a heart-warming narration of the life of one of the world's most beloved singers with the strong, clear notes of Anderson's voice, which brings the beautiful ballads of Patsy Cline to life. Margo definitely has her own sound which holds audiences captivated. The performance is a toe-tapping concert which leaves audiences laughing, crying, and dancing to the hit songs of this beloved lady of country music.

Three workshops will be offered to aspiring writers at a cost of $28 each. Classes offered will be "Go Edit Yourself -- Don't Let Your Mistakes Do You In," by Mary Lois Sanders; "Go Fishing: Catching Content for Your Writing," Dawn Evans Radford; "Getting Published: Taking your Baby from Desktop to Bookshop," a panel presentation with Perky Granger, Dawn Evans Radford and Carol & Richard Noble. Both men and women may enroll in these workshops and need not be enrolled in the full writers? retreat. During a noon hour book browsing/signing, lunch will be served by the Cheryl Creek?s Apalachicola High School culinary arts class, and will be complimentary for those taking two or more of the workshops. The Historic Apalachicola Christmas Celebration will light up Apalachicola from 4:00-8:00 p.m. the streets of downtown Apalachicola will be lined with luminaries and filled with holiday spirit. Merchants will be open late and the sounds of carolers will echo through the streets filling the evening with Christmas spirit. The highlight, of course, will be the big guy himself. Santa will arrive on a shrimp boat at 4:30 p.m. at the City Dock on Water Street, across from City Hall. Santa will hear children's Christmas wishes and carolers will sing. DESCRIPTION: May 2009 will mark the 25th anniversary for the Relay For Life and it is sure to be a magnificent event for Franklin County. It is a unique event that offers an opportunity to participate and raise money in our community for the fight against cancer. Relays are 18 hrs. in length and overnight. A community party atmosphere is created by team members camping out, enjoying entertainment, food, games and camaraderie. It is a community gathering that anyone and everyone can participate in. This year's Relay Theme is "Silver Slumber Party" so please join us for an all night pajama party (be sure to wear your pj's!).
