Franklin County Seafood Workers Association has been around since 1978. We are the only organization and administration elected by the seafood workers themselves. The Workforce Center is the region's one stop career center serving Bay, Gulf, and Franklin counties. The Workforce Center represents a cooperative effort by many public agencies and private organizations to serve the employment needs of the area. It is operated by Gulf Coast Community College through funding and support provided by the Gulf Coast Workforce Board.
