Nestled a few miles up river from downtown resides the “Cypress House”. Local craftsmen built the 1600sq. ft. house from river recovered “pecky” cypress logs, which sank while being transported down river in the late 1800’s. Comforts include a 1500 sq. ft. full wrap around porch and a full masonry fireplace. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably, plus a double bed on a landing for two kids or one adult.
